Alhestar is a family run business in the small fishing village of Þorlákshöfn, South Iceland, located a mere 45-minute drive from Reykjavik.

Near the village there are beautiful black beaches and lava filled terrain with eye catching vistas. Þorlákshöfn is close to Hveragerði and Selfoss and is therefore on the way when taking a south road trip.

For those who want to do more on their Blue Lagoon excursion often take a lesser known circle by the south coast through Grindavík and Þorlákshöfn.
